Wonderful album of care-worn blues. Abner obviously lived the life. Tragedy piles upon bad luck which is then heaped upon calamity and disaster. The only way out, at least for a few hours, is 'cocaine for breakfast'. You would have to go a long, long way to find a better blues album than this.
