Return Policy and Order Cancellation
Return Policy
We will exchange any defective item, or offer store credit if the item is no longer available.
If an item is received as a gift and is unwanted or duplicated, we can offer store credit with the returned item, as long as the item is returned promptly in the same condition.
Shipping records is inherently risky but you can be assured we know what we're doing - I was the mail-order guy at a record store in the mid-90s (also mail-order person at a comic store in the late 80s) and have been sending records ever since, without a single complaint involving goods arriving damaged due to poor packing. The other charges were never proven! 🤣
Using the courier service we do, there is now even less chance of items being damaged in transit. Damaged boxes should be refused when they arrive. We will replace any items once returned to Strangeworld.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Order Cancellation
Please just don't.
We don't like to be one of those places that flatly states "No cancellations" or only offer store credit, but we also shouldn't be out-of-pocket for something that's no fault of our own. To clarify, these are requests in which we haven't done anything wrong - a customer has merely changed their mind - sometimes an hour after placing the order!
Since we became aware of PayPal's poor decision to join the major credit card providers in holding small businesses to ransom by retaining the fees incurred, we will withold that small fee from your refund. Depending on the total of the order, it's usually $1 to $3.

We will provide a screenshot of the fee incurred and refund in full, less the Transaction Fee Total Amount displayed in the Payment Gateway:
The fee in the example above is $2.47
