The Drones introduce listeners to their particular brand of ragged, noisy blues on Here Come the Lies, the Australian group's excellent first album. There are few debuts that so precisely and confidently realise a young band's vision, and although their potential was yet to be fully met, The Drones deserve some major appreciation for such a stellar beginning.
