Sticky Fingers was originally released in 1971 and is utterly essential. It is a heady mix of Stonsey-swaggering rock, stoned blues and cosmic country. We all know opener "Brown Sugar", pretty much the archetypal Stones rocker. It is followed by spine-tingling groove of "Sway", which for me is the best track on here. "Wild Horses" is next which, although penned by Jagger & Richards was originally recorded by Gram Parsons' Flying Burrito Brothers, Parsons being a big influence on the band at the time.
