Where other groups have utterly failed, Luna has managed to rise time and time again, as the only group who have managed to pick up right where The Velvet Underground left off ... the reason is easy, they’re not trying to be The Velvet Underground, they are building on the best of the pop sensibilities from the band, and we have been lucky enough in our lives to have lightening strike twice. This is probably the most laid back of their albums, just a turn on the road, on a journey through the musical landscape of Luna. Luna is a complex group who manage to see from a slightly askew vantage point on each release, giving us something new and fresh, yet never straying from their style, on every release.
