Molchat Doma has made a strong mark on the synthpop and darkwave music scenes.

Belaya polosa differs greatly from the band's previous work, taking a chance on a more ambient record and using instruments like synthesizers in a much more experimental and sterile way. It's no wonder that this album has much longer tracks that vary greatly from one another. The album is a strange ride and a little difficult to describe, becoming something different and fantastic overall.
