OH SEES - Cool Death of Island Raiders LP
Includes d/l code.
Inner sleeve with lyrics.
Criminally out of print for most of the past 13 years since it's release, this album marks a pivotal point in the story of Oh Sees, a bit of a halfway point between the experimental hushed folk of the first few OCS records and the lysergic, full-volumed pop and crackle of the classic 4 piece line-up seared upon brains a short two years later on "The Masters Bedroom is Worth Spending a Night In". The first LP with Brigid Dawson's lovely counter-point vocals, and lovingly swathed in fuzz by Dave Sitek, Cool Deaths is a must-have in the discography, containing some of their sweetest and most heart-first mellow tunes.
