Surely one of Sub Pop's best kept secrets, the Fluid should have been huge. Glue landed smack dab in 1990 just before Nirvana broke, and as we all know, it could've been any number of hot 'alternative' bands at the time to go on to stardom, but such is that fickle beast called fame and fortune. The Fluid proved they could hang with the best of 'em. Power pop melodies and hooks meet grungy guitars in this winning recipe that is rockin' and accessible, but without sounding watered-down either. They're very similar to the equally underrated Seaweed.
