Fifth album from the El Paso progressive rockers. They initially touted this as their 'pop' album, but 'Octahedron' is just as proggy and psychedelic as anything that came before, albeit a little more subdued and less prone to freakouts. Guitar giants Omar Rodriguez Lopez and John Frusciante are all over this, so expect a lot of effects-steeped riffing and soloing.
