In its sixth album, this psychedelic funk project led by George Clinton finally achieves an album of homogeneous material although with very different tracks from each other, starting with the sickly single "Red Hot Mama", going through the proto trip hop of "I'll Stay”and the Frank Zappa-ish “Jimmy's Got a Little Bit of Bitch in Him”, to close with the futuristic version of the song Maggot Brain called “Good Thoughts, Bad Thoughts” in which guitarist Eddie Hazel subtly expands during more than twelve minutes.
