NIRVANA - From the Muddy Banks of the Wishkah 2LP

This feels like THE Nirvana live album. A lot of people focused on the "cash grab" element of its release - it really doesnt matter, and how are you going to pile on this one, yet not any of the other posthumous releases?

There's an inconsistency to the level of production from sections of tracks, but it paints the widest picture, and when it shines, it shines the brightest.

Nirvana were prone to great live albums, but one thing lost in all of the decades of retrospection and industry circle-jerking is that, being the Sonic Youth fans they were, Nirvana were a phenomenal Noise Pop live act.

This feels like the mission Kurt set out to complete fully realized. The wall of playful noise combined with beatles-esque melodic structure.
