CHVRCHES hits it out of the park with their highly anticipated fourth full-length release, Screen Violence.

Every track on this album is ear candy; Lauren's vocal performances are angelic sonically, and heartfelt and poetic lyrically. The instrumentation is strong and some of the group's best to date, with a much appreciated use of more "real" sounding percussion and guitars on many of the tracks, which contributes to an improvement in the variety of their sound over previous releases. All of this results in an album in which each track has it's own unique allure, yet all work together perfectly, with great pacing of these ten tracks throughout the album that leave the listener wanting more. There are next to no dull moments on Screen Violence, it is an absolute pleasure to listen to front to back.
