Our heroes are getting old. Regardless of when it was released, it's hard to consider Dinosaur Jr. to be "old music"... but here we are nearly 40 years after the band formed, time just keeps going for everyone.
J Mascis is 58 now and this album does feel a little like going through the motions and not really bringing anything unfamiliar.
But he's got good motions, so it's fine.
