A full-on rifferama, spiced with copious moans and groans from the young Mr Garrett, sounding agitated almost to the point of constipation. "Cold Cold Change" is the example par excellence of rock n' roll urgency created by pounding the same note over and over. The pace continues with twin guitars and bass ripping and weaving all over the place, brash and furious yet still richly melodic, one adrenalin-drenched musical section after another. Lyrically, Australian imagery abounds.
