If you're buying this album expecting Guitar Town pt 2, you're going to be in for a disappointment. This is Steve's rock album and it worked. Nothing quite reaches the lofty heights of "Copperhead Road" except for the last song, "Nothing But A Child", a duet with Maria McKee and quite possibly the most underappreciated Christmas song ever recorded. Not perfect, but a worthy addition to any collection.
