The legendary Live Max's Kansas City recording from August 1970.

One of the best live recordings ever. Not for sound quality, but quite the reverse. The homey atmosphere this was recorded in, including comments made by the man doing the recording, make this an essential piece of Americana. The band was truly on that night, hot as a firecracker. Lou's vocals on "After Hours" surpasses any other recording of this song with Mo singing.

Lou's refusal to play "Heroin" showed exactly where his head was at on this night. "I'm Waiting For The Man" and "Beginning To See The light" are the best versions ever recorded of these great songs.
