This is a damn good, fun, and nearly flawless power pop album.

Now some may look at the amount of tracks on this record (24) and think that will be a flaw. 2nd grade turns what could be the albums achilles heel and instead delivers a set of short, catchy, and often bittersweet tunes. The large amount of tracks compared to the album’s runtime of just over 40 minutes ensures that even if a track isn’t a winner it will be over shortly and considering how strong the tracks on this album are, those are few and far between.
