Great album, although not for everybody's ears. If you like early Sonic Youth (and NY no wave in general), Dälek (some sort of dark, horrorific trip hop beats come in at times), Oneida (there's some psychedelia too) and experimental, unpredictable rock music, this is for you.

A really dark atmosphere of total despair hangs above Liars. Tribal, obsessive percussions are the rule. Very different from their debut (there's nothing that can be described as punk-funk here), confirming Liars among the most vital and creative bands around today, being able to change almost completely their style after a single, acclaimed album.
