What B.R.M.C. have been hiding all along. In Take Them On, On Your Own's And I'm Aching (my Favorite song of theirs), we are given a glimpse into the acoustic greatness of their songwriting. In Howl this greatness is well realised. A change that was well worth taking.

Rolling Stone complained that it sounded just like Jesus and Mary Chain. The truth is it's much more haunting.
