Songs for Drella is a collaborative album between ex-The Velvet Underground bandmates Lou Reed and John Cale. After the death of Andy Warhol (who was virtually the reason their two careers were launched), the two ignored their hatred for one another temporarily to record a concept album that is meant to retell Warhol's life story. Together, they created something beautiful.
