The sound continues what the band was going for with Deceiver but brings enough sonic changes to make it stick out and stay memorable within their discography, the general sound of this album is melancholic shoegaze, it doesn't go putting the main accent of the music on the noise however, while it is indeed pretty heavy, the main focus of this record is on the atmosphere, which is as emotional and angry as it is subdued and downright exhausted sounding.
