For one of her latest creative ventures, Helen, LIZ HARRIS of Grouper teamed up with Eternal Tapestry drummer Jed Bindeman, bassist/guitarist Scott Simons and a mysterious, possibly mythic third collaborator simply named "Helen."
Upon cursory listens, the band's debut album appears to be an accessible, if noisy, entry into the shoegaze-pop canon. In all actuality, it's a little bit insane.
