EINSTURZENDE NEUBAUTEN - Ende Neu LP

Perhaps they were realising that they were getting on a bit for the rough, punkish frenzy of their early work, or perhaps their tastes had developed; either way, Ende Neu continues Einsturzende Neubauten's evolution from the scrap metal rogue industrial unit of days past to elder statesmen of the art-industrial scene. Even when they are bringing the fury, as on album opener Was Ist Ist, the overall effect is less like a riot and more like an orchestra - but a gloriously twisted one, at least.
