Probably the best compliment this album ever received was when it was panned on SNL by Adam Sandler as a re-release of Pearl Jam's earlier album, Ten.
Many thought STP to be just capitalising on the grunge emergence and wrote off this album as fluff. The reality is quite different. Raw, chord-heavy rock, is what you get.
This album smells of sex, drugs, and rock 'n roll. It kicks off with the heart pounding "Dead and Bloated" and "Sex Type Thing" then lulls you with "Creep".
