The follow-up to 2017's debut album, BASIC, Abomination continues to build on the neo-classical doom sounds the band have become known for. As with BASIC, Abomination is largely instrumental, utilizing guitar, effects, saxophone and drums to create moving, powerful, bone-crushing protest music in the form of Doom Metal—opposing the rise of white supremacy, and empowering black & indigenous peoples. One of the most celebrated new acts to come out of Australia in recent years, Abomination is once again proof that DIVIDE & DISSOLVE are a force to be reckoned with, and one of the hardest working bands around, completing two international tours in as many years.
