Program and Southern Exposure Records present the debut self-titled LP from Blue Communications.

A lean, razor-sharp record from a trio that only formed in late 2024, recorded in July last year at Big Fridge Sound in Ocean Grove. In a short time they’ve locked into a synergy that anyone who has encountered them live will understand.

Avid believers in the Morning Music Movement, the record was written at their weekly rehearsals at Bell City, fuelled by coffee and pastries. The debut album feels like a band that’s ahead of schedule. They’ve been up for hours, and only now, everyone else seems to have woken up.

A hypnotic, tape-hiss-laden slice of DIY post-punk and minimalist indie. Laden with bouncy basslines, minimal drums, and chorus-drenched guitars, it channels a breezy yet deliberate daytime post-punk energy.
