Great obscure outfit from the city who produces more killer acts than one city should be capable of producing - Columbus, Ohio.
Bob City are reminding us a little of Mule or Clawhammer. Sounds great!
"In every city, there are a handful of bands that just bust out some straight-ahead rock music like it was the middle of the seventies. In the Columbus, Ohio, at the dawn of the new millennium, the king of these straight-ahead rock bands was Bob City. They play a gritty southern tinged brand of rock and roll. There main deviation from this was punkish shouted lead vocals which seems almost out of place at points but only exists in the interest of furthering the rock. As a Columbus resident of the time period, I viewed these fellows as Gods of Rock in my late teenage brain. In the part of me that's still a teenager, they still are." - random
