The album begins with the oddly catchy "Hit My Head All Day" and continues through an avant-garde post-punk landfill haze with clarity and awareness of some sort of lazy fear. The lyrics are outstanding. The bass lines are addictive. The guitars are ferocious. And the drums hold everything tight., resulting in their most cohesive effort to date.

Even though Dry Cleaning's signature style doesn't really give much space for new approaches and sounds, there are some here on this record. Some songs have a more catchy vibe, there's more melody in them. The opening track is even funky and definitely makes you move your feet. There are tracks that barely stand out from their catalogue, but hey, it's still really good music and the lyrics are intriguingly quirky as always.
