Young musicians putting out incredible projects is not a rare occurrence in today's music scene, thanks to the availability and advancement of music production software. But when the four 23-year-olds from New York city recorded 'Getting Killed' and '3D Country', there was something fundamentally different: They recorded their albums in a professional studio, with a professional producer to assist with sound engineering.

Though stemming from the same indie roots as other indie bands, Geese moved on quickly after recording their debut 'Projector' in a basement in Brooklyn. Their sounds are more clear, tight, and directional.

Interestingly, '3D Country' sounds childish (in a good way) if you compare it to 'Getting Killed'. Whether it's the Elvis Presley-inspired vocals on "2122", or the ever-changing performance of "Cowboy Nudes", band frontman Cameron Winter seems to be having fun, just like a kid playing with his favorite toys.
