HOLLY GOLIGHTLY - Look Like Trouble LP

Look like Trouble features ten new original songs all offering Holly’s unique look at life and reflecting its many ups and downs.

A lean, lively spin through garage rock revival with a soulful wink. The opening one-two of "Black Tongue" and "My Get Back" comes on strong, all grit and swagger, before the record settles into a steadier midsection that’s solid more than showy.

"Rolling Along" picks the energy back up with a catchy bass-and-guitar pulse, while the closing stretch coasts rather than surges. At 32 minutes it’s an easy, engaging listen that favours feel over flash - consistently enjoyable.

“‘Black Tongue’ is a melodic hex” says Holly, “feel free to use it, it works!”

Another standout track is ‘It’s All’ which Holly describes as a memorial song. “This one is dedicated to several old friends. A contribution to funerals I could not attend” she says.
