Formed in the aftermath of Slowdive, Mojave 3’s debut album Ask Me Tomorrow finds Rachel Goswell, Neil Halstead and Ian McCutcheon moving towards a more stripped-back sound while retaining the atmospheric qualities of their previous work. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Leonard Cohen, Nick Drake and Townes Van Zandt, the album blends folk, country and dream-pop influences into a set of intimate, unhurried songs.

Recorded live to tape in a single room, its naturally blurred and reverberant sound gives tracks like 'Love Songs on the Radio' a hazy, late-night charm. Rachel Goswell’s vocals sit at the heart of the record, bringing warmth and vulnerability to songs that emerged from a fresh creative start for the trio. More than a departure from Slowdive, Ask Me Tomorrow established Mojave 3 as a distinctive and enduring voice in British alternative music.
