More than 20 years after their cult debut reinvented post-punk classics, Nouvelle Vague turn their attention to the songs of Depeche Mode. A Date with Depeche Mode reworks 13 favourites from one of pop's most influential catalogues, recorded between Rio de Janeiro and Paris.

Featuring guest vocalists including Skye Edwards (Morcheeba), Beth Hirsch, Flavia Coelho, Mélanie Pain, Phoebe Killdeer and Fredrika Stahl, the album transforms 'Enjoy the Silence', 'Personal Jesus', 'Stripped', 'Just Can't Get Enough' and 'Ice Machine' with understated bossa nova, jazz, French pop and Latin influences. By replacing the original electronic arrangements with warm, organic instrumentation, Nouvelle Vague reveal the enduring strength of Depeche Mode's songwriting.
