Now this is more like it. Six Finger Satellite's brand of noise rock owes a lot to Chrome, but on Severe Exposure the band dispense with self-conscious trivialities and crank up the noise level and drama to eleven. The result is a bunch of songs that, while easier to sift through, are also more confounding - especially "Pulling a Train", one of noise rock's greatest masterpieces.
