C'mon Snapped Ankles, where and when are you playing in Melbourne? June isn't far off!

Snapped Ankles garage electronic sound works well with their cover of The Fugs' CIA Man and they do a decent job on Comateens' Ghosts and Joey Beltram's techno classic 'Energy Flash'.

Their choices are canny as the band's they cover occupy similar art punk musical terrain where ideas trump talent. Can's Bel Air proves a real challenge, with Can being far too proficient and elusive to be reduced to primitive electronica. Still, kudos for trying.
