In 2010, Sonny Smith (SONNY AND THE SUNSETS) invited 100 artists to design album covers for 100 fictional bands, while Smith recorded the music for these imagined records. Now available for the first time on vinyl, 100 Records Vol. 3 is the third (and final) installment to be officially released from this ambitious project.

100 Records shows the songwriting ability of Sonny Smith, but also shows 60s radio's versatility and diversity. It reminds you of a time when American radio changed every other week, a phenomena that was absent in American culture up until a few years ago when independent music in American began dominating, and Sonny Smith is one of many interesting contributors.
