SPOOKY EYES are a Tassie trio who released this LP in limited form earlier in the year. It went immediately out of print, so we've nabbed copies from the repress for your audio pleasure.
They play and record in a manner which sounds like the year 1972 never left them, and I mean that as a great compliment.
This is some truly excellent stoner-boogie vibes, melding the worlds of 'Sabbath and 'Purple with an upbeat, snarly garage sound.
Just to prove the point, there is an unreal cover of Count Five's "Psychotic Reaction", and it SMOKES.
A totally killer disc from a band with a really strong cult following.
Don't snooze.
