One of those weathered ol' 60's garage/psych/proto-punk/whatever albums that I always return to. Nineteen-hundred and '66 had it.
On their debut, the Seeds exemplified that California sound, the sound of young L.A., lilting and sunny... but mostly scruffy and full of attitude due to Sky Saxon's much-adored snarl.
